Industrial pressure washer machine capacity is measured in gallons per minute (GPM) water output and the number of pounds per square inch (PSI) of pressure it applies to the water.
Standard industrial pressure washers can vary from 2.0 to 9.5 GPM and 1000 to 5000 PSI, special machines can be built for most applications.
Both PSI and GPM are produced by a pump driven by an electric motor or a gasoline/diesel engine.
Hot water is created when cold water travels through a heated metal coil using a burner system fueled by diesel, liquid propane, natural gas or electricity (used when combustible fuel are prohibited) all of these systems provide continous hot water/steam on demand. All Karcher pressure washers are UTL safety certified to UL and CSA safety standards. They have industry leading pump and heating coil warranties.
